To update your application status, please feel free to call this number: 886-2- 2381-7494.Applicants, excluding overseas applications, may submit the Police Criminal Record Certificate (PCRC) application via the Web. To apply online, please click “Police Criminal Record Certificate”, and you will be redirected to the online application page.
After applying online, a number will be issued and a pick-up deadline will be available online the next business day. Certificates can be picked up with the number issued. Please bring the required identification when picking up your PCRC on the assigned day. If applicants DO NOT pick up certificates by deadline, they will be required to apply again. *Required items at the time and place of pickup:
1. Proof of identity:
(1) R.O.C. citizens: An original R.O.C. ID or passport. (A R.O.C. issued passport is required to obtain a PCRC in both Chinese and English.).
(2) Citizens of China, Hong Kong, or Macau: An original Permanent Resident Certificate.
(3) Foreign nationals residing in Taiwan: An original passport. (An Alien Resident Certificate is also required for ARC holders.) Any minor applicant, Taiwanese under age 20 (foreign national under 16), should also present his/her legal representative’s letter of consent and original ID with his/her application, or have his/her legal representative file the application in person.
2. Fee:
(1)Domestic applications: NT $100 is charged for one copy of PCRC. Please enclose cash or money order payable to Taipei City Police Department. Each additional copy applied at the same time is NT$20(the contents of each PCRC should be the same).
(2)Overseas applications: US$ 7(applicants in Hong Kong & Macau: US$6.00) is charged for one copy of PCRC. Each additional copy applied at the same time is US$1 (the contents of each PCRC should be the same). Postage is included. Note: If you assign an individual to apply on your behalf, you must submit a valid power of attorney with your signature or stamp included on the application form. Authorized individuals must present proof of identity when picking up a certificate.
