Taipei City will conduct the 2026 Urban Resilience (Air Defense) Exercise, a 30-minute practical drill,  on August 13, 2026 (Thursday), from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM. The exercise will implement air raid warning transmission and issuance, evacuation and sheltering procedures, traffic control, and other necessary measures, including disaster relief drills (with the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the National Communications Commission simulating network communication obstruction). 

To make sure you can report an incident to the police without interruption during the exercise, please use alternative reporting channels if needed, such as calling 110 or sending a text message to 0911-510-914.

If any government agencies, military units, schools, groups, companies, factories (stations), or individuals within the exercise areas fail to comply with the controls and drills as prescribed by Article 21 of the Civil Defense Act and Article 12 of the Implementing Regulations on Air Defense Exercises, local governments may impose fines ranging from NT$30,000 to NT$150,000 in accordance with Article 25 of the Civil Defense Act. 

To ensure that both local residents and foreign nationals clearly understand the details of the Urban Resilience (Air Defense) Exercise, the All-Out Defense Mobilization Agency, Ministry of National Defense, has produced the "2026 Urban Resilience (Air Defense) Exercise Multilingual Public Information Materials" in English, Japanese, Korean, Filipino, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Thai. These materials are available for widespread use and public dissemination.
