LOHAS Park Traffic Control Measures for the “2019 LOHAS Night Cherry Blossom Festival”


 
    2019 LOHAS Night Cherry Blossom Festival will take place in the vicinity of LOHAS Park from January 27 to February 17 in Neihu District, Taipei City. The festival will be held for the 12 days of the Chinese Lunar New Year holidays (weekends included). It is expected to cause traffic congestion around the park. In order to relieve traffic in the surrounding area, the Neihu Precinct has planned multiple traffic control measures around the LOHAS Park. The traffic control measures for the festival are as follows:
 
  1. Event boundaries:
  1. Kangle Street.
  2. Lane 61, Kangle Street.
  3. Alley 15, Lane 61, Kangle Street.
  4. Lane 85, Kangle Street.
  1. Duration: January 27 to February 17 (from 09:00 to 22:00). 
  2. Road sections with enforced measures against illegal parking:
  A. Kangle Street and Lane 61, Kangle Street intersections.
  B. Lane 61, Kangle Street and Alley 15, Lane 61, Kangle Street intersections.
 C. LOHAS Park surrounding area (Kangle Street →Kangle Street and Lane 61→Bowjinn Kindergarten →Lane 85, Kangle Street →Kangle Street)
 
    Neihu Precinct would like to advise the citizens heading to the “2019 LOHAS Night Cherry Blossom Festival” to take public transportation, for the parking spaces are limited and road sections are narrow. citizens who will be driving to the festival are obliged to comply with traffic control measures. The Neihu Precinct will also enforce measures against illegal parking in all festival areas to maintain traffic order.
