Traffic Control Measures for The 2019 Zhuzihu Hydrangea Festival

    The 2019 Zhuzihu Hydrangea Festival will start from May 18 to June 9(23 days in total). To maintain the traffic order around the Yangmingshan area and peripheral roads, the TCPD will both dispatch officers to direct the traffic and strictly outlaw illegal parking. Related traffic control measures are as follows:
  • Duration(Dates):
  1. From May 18 to 19、25 to 26
  2. June 1 to 2、7 to 9
  • Detailed control measures:
  • For uphill direction:
  1. Time: from 8:00 to 15:00
  2. Subject: automobiles (include passenger vehicles and trucks, except those possessing passes)
  3. Controlled road sections:
a. Yangde Blvd and Zhicheng Rd intersection
b. 1st Lane, Section 2, Zhishan Road
  • For downhill direction:
  1. Time: from 14:00 to 18:00.
  2. Subject: automobiles (include passenger vehicles and trucks)
  3. Controlled road sections:
a. Yangming Rd and Zhongheng Rd intersections
b. Gezhi Rd and Kaixuan Rd intersections
  • Zhuzihu area:
  1. Time: from 9:00 to 18:00 on holiday
  2. Controlled road sections:
 a. West of Hutian Bridge , the road from Calla Lily Avenue to the intersection bound for Zhongzheng Mountain will be designated as a clockwise one-way pass.
 b. East of Hutian Bridge , the road will be a dual-way pass and paint red lines along the roadside.
    The scope and the time of these control measures will be adjusted flexibly depending on the traffic conditions.
    Due to limited parking space on the mountain, it is suggested that citizens take public transportation to avoid any inconvenience. Citizens can take uphill bus in Taipei Main Station, the MRT stations of Beitou, Shilin , Jiantan and Shipai.   1. Listen in on latest traffic conditions from the Police Broadcasting Service.
  2. Use alternative driving routes or divert in advance.
  3. Abide by the direction of on-site officers and auxiliary police.
